Join our team and play a crucial role in driving the market development of our Content Authoring Solution (CAS) in the Life Science industry. Your expertise and contribution will be instrumental in taking Shaman to the next level.

Life Science Organisations have experienced a multifold increase in the demand for fresh, relevant content to meet HCPs’ needs, and struggle to efficiently produce and manage content at scale. Shaman is the leading Saas content platform for Veeva Systems (the leading Commercial platform in Life Sciences). Our no-code, do-it-yourself experience helps Life Science organisations to get the right content in front of their customers, increase Veeva adoption, and boost marketing omnichannel performance. Shaman is a fast-growing scale-up, with +50 FTE based throughout Europe.

The Challenge

Our challenge for the next few years is to develop the global market for content creation tooling and onboard new life science customers. We are a fast-growing Saas scale-up, and we value people who act independently and make things happen. In this great learning experience, you have the opportunity to take full ownership of your business development process, learn, experiment, and optimize as you go. You have the opportunity to be part of a team acquiring new enterprise customers in a rapidly growing market, selling a product that has very clear benefits. You will play a key role in the expansion of Shaman. 

Your responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities through inbound and outbound sales activities.

  • Connect with qualified leads to educate them on trends in content production.

  • Help prospects navigate the buying process, using consultative selling to show how Shaman delivers value, tailored to their specific needs.

  • Manage and drive the entire process, bringing in the right expertise when needed

  • In the lead to plan and execute expanding your existing accounts, as part of the account team

  • Represent Shaman at relevant industry conferences in Europe/US

Job requirements

Who you are

  • A seasoned sales professional with 7+ years of successful track record in bringing disruptive tech innovation and Saas solutions to  the enterprise market, ideally within a fast-scaling international environment

  • You can autonomously define your sales strategy and tactics, driving your business opportunities toward closing the deal. 

  • Proven track record in consultative selling in a multidisciplinary account team, and selling into at least the EMEA and US markets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • You are based in Europe and work in the CET timezone, with experience in full remote work.

  • You're a true people person. You love getting to know clients and forming strong partnerships.

  • You're a fast learner and able to explain abstract and complex technology solutions and process innovation aspects to non-technical audiences. 

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Another language (eg, Dutch, German, French, Italian) is a benefit.

  • Experience in regulated industries, as well as digital transformation and innovation, is beneficial.
